what do babies really dream about? I mean, what IS there to dream about? taking a crap? feeding? dream about napping?

just reflecting since i got back from cleveland.  wow, we are truly blessed to live in such a bomb city like SF, where even the 'jects are safer then the places i saw in CLE.

g and i got lost on the bus (some train was down that weekend).  we traveled SUPER east of cleveland, in hopes of finding some Haight-esqe street that boast cool kicks and knick knacks.  but as we roamed, things literally got darker.  the rain started pouring, the landscape just changed.  after 30 minutes, we were in what i thought one of the poorest parts of the area.  literally block after block, just abandoned houses - cracked windows, boarded doors, and dark dark interiors.  like nightmare on elm street type ish.  i felt kinda sick when we spend so much dough on partying and screwing around.  people out here starvin'.  i know the housing market hit main street hard, but being in the bay area bubble, we don't see how much it has affected the rest of the country.  i mean, blocks and blocks of abandoned houses.  crazoo.

on a lighter note, we tried to see what was crackin in Cleveland.  Sat night?  Well, it only composed of two strips downtown.  literally two streets like 3 blocks long.  they had some high class joints (where leborn kicks it) and they have tons of dive bars.  but that bout it. 

just happy that we can get in our cars drive 15 minutes local and enjoy 18 different cultures.

i swear it just last month i was at my momma's in LA cutting up a turkey and piling on bok choy and dong gu on rice (chinese thanksgiving).  and i swear it was just last week i was opening up xmas gifts.  wasn't it just yesterday it was still winter?

ok look, i'm a reasonable guy.  my parents came to the US from overseas.  i am very accustomed to people with accents.  in fact, i've dated women that have had accents.  i LIKE accents.  what i don't like is when companies contract heavily accented employees to field their phone inquiry calls.

why?  this benefits no one.  i get frustrated.  the operator gets frustrated.  wouldn't it make sense to hire or at the least SCREEN your front line?

what the heck is happening on this show.

ate a trader joe waffle for breakfast, a Philly cheesteak for lunch, Merritt Cafe's chicken & waffles for dinner, and top it off with a Oracle Arena hot dog, chips, and soda as a 'snack'.
